Steve Imes moves freely between realism and abstract and he loves the freedom of expression with abstracts and the use of color and composition in ways you don’t expect. His realism work often consists of rural landscapes, florals, birds and other beauties of nature but has also been drawn to create paintings of the Southwest after numerous trips to the Santa Fe, New Mexico area.
